Daddy's helper

Yesterday my Daddy needed me to be his helper. I agreed, of course, but Mommy made me eat first. Here I am enjoying a DELICIOUS meal of crackers, blueberries, and grilled cheese. Blueberries are my new favorite food, and I like to eat them first. Yummy!

I have to concentrate- those buggers are slippery!

After I ate, I went to help outside. Here I am trying to put my raft in the pool.

Getting back out. Notice that I helpfully threw some clothes in, too! I was trying to help Mommy wash them.

Last, but not least, I helped Daddy pick an orange off the tree. I don't understand why they're called oranges when they're green!

Daddy said he couldn't do all his work without my assistance! Mommy laughed when he said that...

New sneaker shoes!!

Today I got a package in the mail. Actually, it wasn't exactly the mail. Some guy rang the doorbell and left it for Mommy. When She helped me open it, I had these really, really awesome ba-due sneaker shoes! Mommy told me she had some when she was my age, which I don't believe. Mommy is a MOMMY, not a BABY! Silly Mommy... Anyway, I wore them all day, because they were very comfortable.

They're different from my other shoes, but I look very cool in them.

Before bedtime, Mommy and Daddy dressed me in my PJs and Daddy and I played a little. I LOVE it when he does this with me! I giggle and screech and giggle some more!

Look!! Look what I can do!!! I can drive a tractor just like my Pap!!! Okay, okay, Daddy did help me a little, and it was on a trailer, but still!!

Besides learning to drive, I've been eating a lot. Here are a few of my favorites.

One day, my Daddy was working outside, so my Mommy moved my high chair so that I could watch him. I had dinner AND a show!

I also really enjoy kiwi fruits.

They're hard to pick up, but well worth the trouble!

So, Grammy, let's review. When I come to visit, I'd like mango, banana, kiwi, and my very own tractor to drive around! Sound good?

Hide and seek

One of my favorite games is Hide and Seek. I play it with Mommy and Daddy. They can NEVER find me!!! I'm so smart...

This is my hiding place- under the kitchen sink. I also like to play here when Mommy and Daddy do dishes. I'm very helpful.

See, I close the doors like this, and then they're all confused. They call me, and call me, and knock on the doors, and look everywhere! I just sit in here and laugh at them. I keep toys in here so I don't get bored while they look.

You'd never know I'm in there, would you?

Sometimes I go in my hideout to get away when I'm eating breakfast. Snickers is trying to steal my muffin bite!

Another great toy is my keys. I was looking for the key to unlock the front door so I can go outside and play.

Dear Pap,
Can I have one of these? You said I can have a pony if I have a place to keep him. My yard isn't big enough, but the penguin can live in my pool! See? He likes me!

Hi everybody!

I know, I know, I haven't posted in a long time. I'm busy, you know, Grammy! I have a LOT of trouble to get into!!

One of the things I particularly enjoy lately is eating tomatoes. Mommy and Daddy will give me a whole one (chopped up, of course) with my dinner sometimes, and I just love it! The camera is interrupting my eating, Mom.

I've also learned to crawl up onto the couch all by myself, usually in pursuit of Mommy's book or the remote control. I'm going to visit Pap soon, so I'm in training to flip channels.

Am I doing it right?

I've also been trying to read Mommy's books. Or crawl into the shelf. Whichever.

Those Harry Potter books could be a lot of fun to tear!
