What's an astronaut?
Mommy said I can be anything I want when I grow up. On Friday, she told me I can even go see the stars if I want, and she showed me how. We took a LONG trip in my carseat, and got to see the space shuttle lift off! I saw it land when I was just a baby, so this was pretty cool.
This picture was taken about 5 seconds after liftoff. It was neat- the whole sky lit up, and the shuttle went way up to the moon!
This was about 10 seconds after liftoff. We stayed until you couldn't see it any more. I saw the boosters separate and fall back down to Earth, too!

I know it's been a while since I posted, but my life is getting pretty busy now that I'm 10 months old. I'm learning to walk, have cut 7 big teeth, and am crawling all over the place. Things are getting really cool now!
One thing that kept me busy last week was my Grammy's visit! On Tuesday, Mommy, Daddy, and I went to the airport (I'm such a big boy now- I know what the airport is!) and Grammy was there! I was so happy to see her and her Marathon Medal I drooled all over them.
Grammy loved feeding me. She fed me my first rice on the night she came. I got it everywhere, even in my dider!
The next morning, she fed me my breakfast. It was a banana and some Rice Krispies. I showed her how I bite on my spoon, and she said I was a good boy.

One night, she even let me have a cookie! They make a sticky mess, and I don't get them very often.

Grammy loved watching me walk, and she even brought me some big, NOISY toys. Mommy and Daddy made silly faces at those toys, but I loved them.

I was talking and talking to her, and here I am after our conversation was interrupted. Silly Mommy!

I love my Grammy very much, and I was really sad to see her go. The nice thing is that Mommy and Daddy told me in a few weeks I can go visit her AND my Pap!!! (Now all I have to do is learn what a few weeks is, and I'll be set.)

Go Steelers!
My Grammy got me this outfit, and today I listened to the Steelers game on the radio. Daddy's friend kept trying to get me to say Uncle Chris, but all I can say is Dada and Da. Even when Mommy asks me to say Mama, I just grin and say Da! Mommy said Aunt Beth would like me in this outfit.
I am now officially too big for my swing. I can make my feet touch the ground, and lean over and touch it with my hands, too.

I'm into everything!
Mommy and Daddy say I'm into everything now. I like to walk along the table, just reaching out and grabbing anything I can get my hands on. Don't worry, Grammy, I won't be REALLY walking before you see me!
Here I am going for the basket.

Bath time!
Tonight was bath night, which I LOVE. I have lots of bath toys. I have a pink hippo, a brown bear, and a green froggy. Plus, I have a red cup and some bubbly stuff. Here I am just hanging out.
Then Daddy did something REALLY mean -he made all my water go away! I outsmarted him and Mommy, though, and just kept on playing. Who needs the water? The tubby is slippery enough to be fun all by itself!
