My action packed afternoon!

I had an action packed afternoon today! Lots and lots of fun.

First, I tried to get into the cabinets again. They must be broken- I can't get them to work! Then I tried the dishwasher. That's broken too! How can I help Mommy unload it if I can't open it???

After that disappointment, I crawled around the floor and looked for trouble.

Yes, that IS my sock in my mouth. I've been carrying toys that way lately. It's much easier than pushing them along as I crawl.

I also tried to open the trash can...

but THAT WAS BROKEN TOO!!! What's WRONG with this kitchen lately????
Finally, Mommy and Daddy put me into my cribby and helped me hug my Nanners.

Nighty night!

First 5k!

Mommy and I ran a 5k yesterday! It wasn't my first race ever- I ran a mile with Grammy this summer. It was cold, though! I wore PJs, jeans, socks, a sweatshirt, and my hockey jersey!

This is the T-shirt Mommy got, and a medal she made for the girl who ran with us. Where's my shirt, Mommy? Or my medal?
This is the funny furry guy who goes to all the Lightning games. Daddy liked watching him as he waited for Mommy and me. I saw him during the race, too, but he didn't run. Wonder why...
Here we are trying to stay on the course. Mommy had some trouble driving.

And finally,m we got to Daddy! The finish line was neat. I liked all the balloons.

Mommy said I can't do another race until it's warmer. Maybe Grammy will come do my next one with me!

Bathtime fun!

Before my bath the other day, I found this little door in my house. My doggies use it to go in and out. I don't know how to use it myself, but my Daddy helped me to play games with it! When I finally got into the tub, Daddy let the water keep coming out of the waterfall. Boy, was it fun to play with!

I tried and tried to catch it.

But nothing worked. Oh, well. Maybe next bath.

Using my noodle

Mommy said I was really using my noodle today, but I didn't get it. I ate chicken, not noodles! Anyway, I wanted to play with the box on the table. I'm too short to get it, though! So I grabbed my Bumbo chair, dragged it over, and stood in it to get that box! I was so proud of myself! Here I am taking a break.
On the way up again!

And here I am, just playing with Daddy. It was a fun afternoon!

So big!

Look how big I'm getting! Daddy gave me a horsie ride last night, and I felt so tall! Weee!!!! And, just for Grammy, a picture of my curls. Mommy said she won't cut them before Pap sees them too!

Daddy's little helper

Since I can open the cabinet doors (and take the flour tub out), Mommy asked Daddy to put hooks on the doors.

They tried to distract me with my toys....

But I was really being helpful!

Now, unfortunately, I can just squeeze 1 little hand in there. I can still get lids, though!!

A big tree- in the house??

Okay. I thought it was strange when they put me in the pool, and I got used to it. Then they had me wear my SuperGrover outfit and a hat- I got used to that too. And the big guy in red whose lap I sat on? REALLY scary. But now Mommy and Daddy have done something totally off the wall. Yesterday we went to a big tent, and Mommy and Daddy and I looked at big green scratchy trees, and then they brought one home. OK, I thought. Daddy's going to put it outside. But NO! He put it IN the HOUSE!!

Here I am trying to figure out what in the world is going on.
Mommy explained that we'll put pretty things on the tree, and that I can't eat them, which was a bummer. But she also said that I can help, and I can help Daddy put twinklies on the tree! Cool!
By now, I decided the tree was pretty cool, and I was OK with it being in here. My doggies are still scared. I'll help them get used to it, though.

This morning, Mommy and Daddy put this hat on me and took lots of pictures. I know, I look funny, but they liked it.

I just wanted the thing off!

Here I am helping Daddy with the twinklies for the tree.
He said I was the best helper ever!

St. Nick came!

On Friday night, Mommy and Daddy told me a nice man, kind of like Santa (EEEK!) was going to come and leave presents for me, if I've been a good little boy. Now, I KNOW I've been good, so I felt pretty safe about him coming to visit me.

In this picture, Mommy and I are putting my bowl on my high chair for him to leave his goodies.
The next morning, I was so happy! He came! And I got a book...
And some cheese puffies! Oh, do I love the cheese puffies.

I clench them in my little fist and nibble away...

He also left me trucks! Boy, are they cool. They hide under each other and drive all around my floor.

Come again soon, Mr. St. Nick! Thank you for my presents!

First Thanksgiving

Before my big dinner last week, Daddy made me work! We made a garden for his baby palm trees. Secretly, I thought it was pretty fun. Here are a couple of pictures of us working.

He (very carefully!!!) let me look at the drill!
Mommy said it was called Thanksgiving, and that it was a day to celebrate things we're happy about. I was happy about Mommy, Daddy, and Cheerios.

Here I am watching as the food was loaded onto my plate.

After a few spoonsful...

More, please!

Here we go- feeding myself!

All in all, it was a great day. Can we do it again soon?

Spaghetti!

First, let me say I'm sorry for not posting much. I'm a busy little guy. I'm crawling up in the air now, and I'm working on walking. Plus, I've had a lot of people coming to see me!

One thing I love lately is eating spaghetti. I make a mess, so I'm only allowed to eat it if it's a bath night.
Here I am, taking a break during my dinner, just hanging out.

I also love to feed myself spaghetti that drops onto my tray. Mommy just groans when I do this. Don't know why...

I'm so good at it!

I also like to walk under the kitchen table. There are lots of things to hold on to there. This is one of the last shots you'll see of my pacifier, since mean old Mommy and Daddy take it away unless I'm in my cribby now! This time, I found it all by myself!
