Mmmm, sweet potatoes!

Conner's getting to be such a big boy now! He tried sweet potatoes for the first time last night. I swear, the boy would've licked the bowl if he could!!! He generally does well with his cereal, but this was just amazing. Paradise in a jar to him... We got such a kick out of it. We'll have sweet potatoes for a week, then move on to squash for a week, and then we'll try a green veggie, probably peas. His family will have so much fun feeding him on his upcoming visit!

I now sleep without my swaddle! Mommy found me on my side one morning. I ALSO sit in my high chair to eat my cereal! Please , can I eat something with a little flavor?

A Day in the Life...

Conner wakes up one HAPPY baby!!! He has a mirror with toys on it in his crib, and every morning I go into get him out of his crib, and he's playing. He smiles and smiles at us, and the first thing he does when I un-swaddle him is grab those toes! Getting changed into the first outfit of the day...
He likes this toy, too, thankfully. Otherwise, those hands would be in EVERYTHING!!!
After the morning bottle, we go for a walk to hear the birdies chirp. Conner loves it, and usually falls asleep toward the end of the walk.
Another outfit- guess he had a little accident in the first one!
He also likes to spend some time in the bouncy chair. This was not a good laundry day for him, as he is wearing the THIRD outfit!!!

Hi, Mommy!! I can wave my pacifier around!
But, oh, that waving makes me one tired little boy!
We've been spending a lot of time on the floor together, practicing our rolling over. This goes well until his arms get tired. Unfortunately, he's just not great at the rolling BACK yet.

As do the car rides. We had some errands to run that day. Conner grumbles a little bit in the car, but as long as he has a toy to play with, he does really well.
When Daddy got home, he played too!

All that fun made Conner a sleepy little boy- off to bed he goes!

Conner and Grammy

Conner's Grammy just came to visit. We miss her a lot!! While she was here, she made cereal a lot easier. Apparently, the first-time-mommy was making it too thick- now that the cereal is runnier, he loves to eat it! He said his Grammy is a good cooker.

Our First Post!

We'll see how this goes... It's the beginning of summer break, and I have the WHOLE summer off to spend with my baby! We're going to have lots of fun together. Conner's daddy and doggies love spending time with him, too!
