Happy Halloween!

Lots of fun pictures in this post! It's a mishmash of my last week.

I have a cold and an earache, and so I've been really sleepy lately. Here I am sleeping with Mommy. I'm sure she's talking to Grammy about how cute I am!
Even though I have a cold, I can still get into everything!

I was trying to read about the World Series, but Mommy took my paper away...

It's been super cold in the mornings, so Mommy has been putting my nice warm jacket on me to go to and from day camp.

Today, after I got home from my doctor's office, Daddy taught me to drive. I can steer...

but my feet don't reach the floor thingys!

Oh, well. I had fun anyway!

Because of my earache and cough, Mommy and Daddy decided I couldn't go out dressed as SuperGrover. Bummer! But Mommy did let me hand out candy to the big kids who came to my door. I helped her hold the candy pumpkin, and showed all those kids how BIG I am! I weigh 19 pounds 4 ounces now!

See? I'm a big help! And look at my bibby!

Mommy says next year I'll go ask for candy. She said Daddy would have eaten all of mine, anyway.

Happy Halloween!

My first Jack-O-Lantern!

Yesterday Mommy and Daddy took me to Target, and we bought a big, round, orange thing. They explained that it's called a pumpkin, and that Mommies and Daddies help their kids make pictures in them for Halloween. I really didn't get it, but they said they'd help me. Today, we made our Jack-O-Lantern, and I had a blast!

They let me play with my pumpkin, and I really liked it.
I like to thump on it. It makes a loud noise.
It was SO weird- Daddy cut the top off my pumpkin, and there was this really neat goop inside it!

I loved that goop. It tasted good, and it was fun to fling around.

Mommy and Daddy let me play with as much as that goop as I wanted, and I had a blast.

Here I am with the final carving. Daddy did a good job! He said when I'm a big boy, he'll let me draw a picture and he'll carve that, but for now, he did something fancy.
It's a kitty, and a spider, and another pumpkin!

I'm so proud of my Daddy! He did a good job, and I was a big help!

Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's...

SUPERGROVER!!! Mommy and Daddy took me to a very odd place today. Nobody was wearing normal clothes, and I looked like my hero, SuperGrover!
They put a number on me and made me go across a stage in front of 3 people who smiled at me.

Daddy made my helmet. I humored him and wore it, but not for long.

It was cool, but they said I can do it AGAIN on Friday! I can't wait!

My overalls

Normally I only wear long pants when I go nightnight, but Mommy said it was cool enough outside for me to wear them tonight when I went out with her and Daddy. They're neat! I felt very grown up. Don't worry, though, I know I'm still just a baby!

Here I am helping Daddy check his voice mail.
And here I am showing off!

Sometimes I hold my own bottle now, too!

I'm really hot stuff in these overalls!

What an awesome day!

I think this may have been one of the best days of my life!!! My Mommy and Daddy took me to a place with lots of fishies. I enjoy watching the fishies in Daddy's pond, so this was paradise to me!

Here's a picture of Mommy and me in front of the fishy place.
And here I am after seeing big fishies with wings. Mommy and Daddy called them Rays, and said that when I'm bigger, I'll be allowed to pet them! All I wanted to do was swim with them, so Mommy kept a tight hold on me.
Mommy let me look at all the animals. Here we are with some turtles.

This was one HUGE fishy! I thought he wanted to eat me! This is Mommy and me with a crocodile. He smiled the whole time I was looking at him!
What's this, Mommy?
Oh, I get it! Lunch!!
They had a turtle I could sit on, too!
I love the Rays...
And they love me, too!
Mommy and I had fun looking, while Daddy had fun with the flashy thing.
Mommy and Daddy told me all about the fishies we saw. Daddy said when I'm bigger, he'll take me to catch some of the fishies, but he won't eat them. Mommy and I will. Lots of people want to take me to catch the fishies. Lucky for Pap and Bob, I love to go places- they can all take me fishing!

We loved this place!
This is coral, and it felt funny on my little hands. Sort of scratchy. More of me and the fishies.

And finally, here are Mommy and me in our Penn State shirts. The kitty ROARED tonight, and we were happy!

Mmm, good home cooking!

My mommy is such a good cooker! She's been making me fresh dinners and grinding them up. Today she made me chicken and broccoli. I didn't like it, and gagged a lot, but still opened my mouth for more. Last week I had a lot of meat loaf, which was good, but got boring after a while. These pictures are of the chicken and peas from this weekend. Not the most flattering shot of me, but I'm only 9 months old, I couldn't tell her to delete it.

I try to feed myself those puffy things. They are SO good! Oh, I love them. She and Daddy put them on my tray as an appetizer. I try so hard to get every single puffy on my plate!

Today at day camp, I got a red spot in my eye. It didn't hurt at all, and I played all day with all the toys. Mommy took me to see my friend Doctor S. after she came and got me, and he said it was just a burst blood vessel, whatever that means. He said she needs some gunk to put in my eye just in case. She got the gunk, and I people watched while we waited for it to be ready. People smiled and smiled at me! Daddy put the gunk in my eye. Doesn't bother me. As long as Mommy and Daddy are happy, I'm happy!

Here I am getting my PJs on.
And here I am showing them off!

SOOO big!

The first thing I need to show off is my 2 front teeth! Click on my picture and you can see them!
Next, I got new jammies today, and they have Georgies on them! Mommy washed them as soon as she got home so I could wear them tonight. She and Daddy tried so hard to make me do So Big, but I was too smart for them! I waited till Daddy put the camera away and THEN I did it!

Mommy was trying to talk me into showing my stuff.

Finally, SO BIG!
