What I've been up to

Here are a few pictures that show what I've been doing this week.

My favorite part of Mommy's new jogging stroller is the big box it came in!
I tried to get inside. Mommy and Daddy thought I was so funny!

Here's Mommy's cake, which I wasn't allowed to play with for some crazy reason. They said I'll get my own cake for my birthday, though. I've been playing in my room. Crawling on my floor is really fun!

And finally, when Mommy had to work one night Daddy took me outside in my Exersaucer. Don't worry, Grammy, I was actually far from my pool. The angle of the picture makes me look closer than I was!

Mommy's birthday present

Tomorrow is my Mommy's birthday, so Daddy and I gave her a present early. Grammy will be proud of Daddy for that, since he always yells about opening stuff before it's time. It was a bright orange jogging stroller!!!! It's the coolest- it has padded straps for me, a tray for my toys and my bottle, an adjustable seat,and an Ipod speaker so we can listen to music!!

Here I am helping Daddy put it together. I was a big help.
Daddy is showing me that it IS possible for a man to read the directions! Guess Mommy was rushing him, she wanted to take me for a run right away.
We're almost ready, Mommy is programming her Ipod. My stroller also has an odometer!
And we're off!
Ew, Mommy, you're all sweaty! But we had a GREAT time!

Beware of bears!

Dear Grammy and Pap,
My shirt has a very important message for you!! Today Mommy and Daddy bought me a lot of diders. Mommy was putting them into their dider sack, and I started to play with the box.
What a great toy!

Ooh, a hose!!

Today, Mommy and Daddy let me sit on the patio outside-on the ground!! I slapped the bricks. They made a cool noise. There was a long, skinny, green thing next to me that Daddy called a hose. Here I am playing with the water that came out of it! I love to play with water any way I can get it...
We had a blast!

Scootching and splashing!

I had SOOOO much fun today!! First of all, Daddy took me to Day Camp in the morning. Mommy usually takes me, and I chattered to him the whole way. When I got home, I just crawled and crawled. Here I am showing off. Note the drool on my chinny. I do it for Aunt Beth.
I was after something here, but I don't know what it was.





Next, Daddy took me swimming. Here are a lot of pictures showing what I like to do best- splash!

They always tell me not to drink the water, but I just can't resist!

Here I am, runny nose and all. My poor lip is red from all that darned nose blowing! I can't get away from it!!! I pulled the camera toward myself, but Mommy took it away...
This evening, Mommy and Daddy and I played on the floor of my room.
They let me play with Freddy Teddy!
And he tackled me!

When I woke up...

Today I decided to play when I woke up. I have a mobile in my cribby, and when Mommy came in to get me, I was sitting up and playing with it! I was so happy to see her!
When I was eating breakfast, Daddy made my mattress lower. Now it's a lot harder to play...

I had a fun day!

Today was a fun day. Mommy helped me to stand like this! I stood for a long time. She told me that she taught my Aunt Beth to stand like this, then to climb out of her cribby. I'm not allowed to do that, she said. Just wait, Mommy! I had to have a bath tonight because I smooshed my sweet potatoes into my hair.
After bath time, Mommy and Daddy play with me on my changing table. We have such a great time!
I really enjoyed this!

Look what I can do!

Here I am in my Exersaucer, just hanging out. Mommy and I were watching some sort of game on TV. I kept hearing a big kitty roaring in the background. I wanted to look for it so I could pet it, but Mommy said it was too far away. She said the place on TV is near Grammy and Pap's house, and that some day Pap will take me there for some really good ice cream. What's ice cream??? I'm crawling now!
Today I was leaning on my arm, and all of a sudden I sat up all by myself!
I'm so proud!
I found Daddy's shoe when I was crawling around. I thought I could fit in it, but I guess it's a little too big. Bummer. Maybe in a month or so, the way I'm growing!

Bath time at the zoo!

One thing I really enjoy is taking a bath. I splash water everywhere, and make a huge mess. I have a pink hippo that I hold, and a brown bear that washes me. Sometimes I hold the brown bear and the hippo washes me- it depends on my mood. You can see that I'm a very modest bather! Mommy wraps me in a towel when I get out, and it feels so good and snuggly!
Tonight, I sat in the chair in front of the TV just like my Pap. The only difference is that I held my bottle instead of the remote.
When do I get the remote?????

What I Do for Fun

I have some new hobbies!! I still like to sit outside with Mommy and Daddy before my nightnight bottle, and today I took the Twizzler Grammy got me at Chocolate World along. My new FAVORITE thing to do is to pull Mommy's hair. I can get 2 big handfuls of it, and boy, do I yank!
It's great! Her hair gets all drooly, and that makes this game even more fun.
I also like to roll over on my changing table. This drives Mommy and Daddy nuts when they try to put my fresh diders on. Ha ha, can't catch Conner T.!!!

I also like to get on my hands and knees and rock back and forth.
Today when Daddy took me swimming, Mommy brought my ducky out to swim with us!

I didn't mean to get the water in Daddy's eyes, it just happens!
