Happy Birthday to Me!

My birthday was on Thursday. Mommy and Daddy keep telling me I'm 2 now- but I just say 3!!! It's my favorite number.
Here I am playing with one of my presents. I love balloons!
While Mommy was out picking up my cake, I played. Here's a sample of my play time. Daddy thought I was being awfully quiet, and when he checked on me, this is what he found! I got the cabinets, the fridge door and both sides, the door to the garage, and the wall. Mommy said the crayons are washable, and she laughed and laughed at me. Then she made my artwork go away.

I also helped Daddy cook. While I was helping, he gave me a lemon to play with. It squirted me in the eye!!!

Grammy and Pap sent me a very funny card that sings to me. I loved it!

Here's my cake. It had the Backyardigans on it!!!! And Mommy got candles shaped like balloons, too! I tried to grab them, but she wouldn't let me.

Yummy- my cake was delicious! I like the icing best.
Next, I got to open MORE presents! I could get used to this...

Cool, a bulldozer to go with my dump trucks!
Here I go again!
Playing with my bulldozer.

The next day, my hand kept disappearing. Where is it, Mommy?

Oh, THERE it is!
Today it was nice and sunny, so I took my toys outside and played in the sand. Sand does not taste as good as icing.

But it's fun to put it into the back of my dump truck!

And I dump it right back out again- ready for another load!

Yuck, more sand in my mouth!

Santa came to my house!!!!

The past few days have been SOOOOO much fun!! Here are some pictures to show you what happened.
This wasn't Christmasssy or anything, Mommy and Daddy just like to see me eating my lemons. I picked it myself!
Here I am with my Night Before Christmas book. I turn the pages, and somehow, Grammy reads it to me!! This book is magic, I know, because Grammy lives far away!

I'm listening very carefully.

Carrying my book around from room to room. Grammy read to me no matter where I was!

Here I am with Daddy, getting ready to put out cookies for Santa.
I couldn't forget a carrot for his reindeer!

After that, Grammy and Pap called me. They said I could open some presents from them!!!!

I am SO good at tearing paper!

Um, Mommy, you're breaking my rhythm!

Daddy is showing me how to open my phone.

More unwrapping! Yippee!

Here I am playing with my race track!

Here's me opening it. Guess I got out of order.
Cool- I couldn't wait to play!

Vroom!

There go the cars!

I left Santa cookies and eggnog, and a carrot for the reindeer.

And he left me all of this!!!!!!!!!

I've been very, very busy playing with all my new toys.

Everything has to go into my truck.

And here are my race cars again!

I have 2 new phones! I love their beepy noises.

Christmas morning pictures are on Daddy's camera, and so Mommy will put them up later. But it was GREAT!!!!

Why is a tree in the house?

This was a very... interesting weekend. Lots of cool stuff happened- but was it ever strange! Mommy and Daddy took lots of pictures of me. I like that camera! First, Daddy brought this thing into the house. I didn't know what it was, but it had knobs I could turn!
I enjoyed those knobs. They were just my size.

Then we went and got this tree and brought it home! I had a fit when it went into Daddy's truck and I had to get into the car without it, but I was happy to see it again in my house.

I enjoyed investigating it.

The next step was to help Daddy put lights all over my tree.

I took breaks to play with the dancing snowman and snow doggie.

They're SO much fun!

Back to work. This was a big job, and Daddy couldn't do it without me!

Yep, they work, Daddy!

That night, Mommy and I put a bowl on my high chair. She said that it I've been a good boy, St. Nick would come and put stuff in it!
And he DID!!!

What a GREAT weekend! Can we do it again next week?

Look what I can do!

Look at this neat toy I got! And my fuzzy, warm jammies! I took my sippy cup for a ride on my toy this morning. Mommy made me the best spaghetti I've ever eaten. Mmm!

The long skinny things were kind of hard with my fork...

and it took me a while...

but I ate a lot!

Here I am enjoying a new treat. Mommy called it a Krispy Kreme.

Those Krispy Kreme thingys are G-O-O-D!

I'm a budding artist! Here I am with one of my latest creations.

I really enjoy drawing, just like Daddy!

The zoo- with my Grammy!

Last week my Grammy came to see me. I think she came to see Mommy and Daddy too, but I was the big draw. One of the GREAT things we did was go to the zoo! I love the zoo, and it was even better this time with her!

Here she is taking me out of my car seat... and putting me into my big stroller. We took the big one so I could see all my animal buddies better.

Mmm, snacks!

And a sippy, too!

Peek-a-boo, monkey!

Grammy was a good pusher.

I liked holding my Mommy's hand as we went along!

We went into the petting zoo, and I really enjoyed playing with these odd doggies.

I called them, and chased them, and played with them!

Here we are going after more!

I wanted to GO, and Mommy made me hold her hand!

They liked it when I patted them.
Bye, strange doggies!

Here's another shot of me with Mommy and Grammy. Look at me wave!

Next, we went to visit Nanners. I really didn't know what to think. He was HUGE!
He liked eating the crackers Mommy had.

I tried to feed him, but got a little scared.
But I didn't want to look away at all!

Nanners liked Daddy's camera, too!
Here I am enjoying some gummy snacks Grammy got me. They didn't see me drop one. Boy, was that sticky on my pants!

That's a big kitty! She looked at me funny- kind of like I look at my food!

Where did that animal go?
There it is! An otter!

I REALLY liked watching him swim!

I had a terrific time with my Grammy. She can come back soon, and bring my Pap, too!

My Scary Halloween

Mommy and Daddy took me to Sea World for Halloween!! It was fun and scary. Big monsters chased me.
I thought it was fun at first. They walked around the room, and I watched them. From a distance.

Then they came closer, and I was intrigued...

But they were SCARY!!!

This big blue one didn't like scaring me. I think I like him, from at least 6 feet away.

But any closer, and I was afraid he would steal my food. Mommy and Daddy thought this was all hilarious. I was mad.

Daddy tried to help...

But even he couldn't protect me!

The big guys then went up on stage and sang to me, which I really liked. Here I am, French Toast in hand, watching them.

I really liked all the singing and clapping and music!

And I LOVED my cup of OJ with my own straw!

Mommy said I made a mess, so she and Daddy put my OJ in my sippy cup. Rats.

All in all, it was a pretty fun breakfast! Bye, monsters!

Daddy's helper

Yesterday my Daddy needed me to be his helper. I agreed, of course, but Mommy made me eat first. Here I am enjoying a DELICIOUS meal of crackers, blueberries, and grilled cheese. Blueberries are my new favorite food, and I like to eat them first. Yummy!

I have to concentrate- those buggers are slippery!

After I ate, I went to help outside. Here I am trying to put my raft in the pool.

Washing the sand off my hands.

Getting back out. Notice that I helpfully threw some clothes in, too! I was trying to help Mommy wash them.

Ooh, birdie! (Sometimes I get distracted.)

Last, but not least, I helped Daddy pick an orange off the tree. I don't understand why they're called oranges when they're green!

Daddy said he couldn't do all his work without my assistance! Mommy laughed when he said that...
